Celebrating 1 Year of PBH!
Picture Book House, the blog, will turn 1 on February 12th!
In the beginning, my blog posts were shaped by books and how we read/engaged with them. Today, how we read/engage with books is equally influenced by this blog.
Over the course of the year habits have developed (The Breakfast Book), categories of books have emerged (see lists HERE), and I have come to the realization that I parent with picture books (see updated introduction to the site HERE).
My kids’ interests are changing quickly. Already, the books they loved as little babies are spending more time on the shelf, while easy readers and nonfiction picture books join us for breakfast or in bed–so I hope you will visit often to see what’s new.
I am looking forward to telling more stories about our books/our life in 2014.
