Baby Bear is Back!

Baby Bear Counts One by Ashley Wolff (Beach Lane Books, 2013) was released this week, and I found the copy I had ordered online tucked inside our front door on this damp, cool, fall night after the kids had gone to bed.

My instinct? Rush downstairs, wake up my three-year-old and read it to her, but halfway to her room it struck me that that would be, well, crazy.

And so I have been sitting here on the couch, fiddling with the the jacket flap that will be peeled off by little hands first thing tomorrow, and reading Baby Bear Counts One again and again–even though nobody is demanding I do so. Not yet…

Just like it’s prequel (Baby Bear Sees Blue), this book is stunning.
